Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sealify website or services. By creating an account or submitting an application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. About Sealify

Sealify provides credit approval assistance services. Specifically, we connect clients who need a co-signer with a qualified individual willing to co-sign their rental or financing application, and we issue an official co-signer offer letter on the client's behalf. Our services currently cover:

  • Apartment rental applications
  • House rental applications
  • Car financing applications — coming soon

Sealify is an assistance service — we are not a lender, bank, real estate agent, landlord, or financial institution. We do not make lending decisions and do not guarantee approval from any landlord or lender.

2. Eligibility

To use Sealify, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a legal resident of the United States
  • Provide accurate, truthful information throughout your application
  • Have a valid email address and phone number

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion, including where we suspect fraudulent, false, or misleading information has been provided.

3. The Application Process

Once you create an account and submit your application, our team will:

  1. Verify your Chime payment and confirm your application
  2. Assign a qualified co-signer to your application
  3. Issue an official co-signer offer letter within 48 hours of payment confirmation

The 48-hour turnaround applies to business days (Monday through Saturday). Submissions received on Sunday or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

You are responsible for submitting accurate and complete documents. Incomplete or inaccurate submissions may delay or void your application without a refund.

4. Fees and Payment

The fee for each co-signing application is a flat $300 USD. This fee covers the co-signer assignment, offer letter issuance, document review, and support throughout the process.

  • Payment is due at the time of application submission.
  • All fees are charged in US dollars.
  • Payment is sent via Chime. Instructions are provided during the application process.
  • Each service (apartment, house, car) requires a separate application and fee.

5. Refund Policy

The $300 fee is non-refundable once your co-signer has been assigned and your offer letter has been issued. This is because the service has been delivered in full at that point.

Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:

  • You request a cancellation before we begin processing your application (i.e., before a co-signer is assigned)
  • We are unable to fulfill your application for reasons within our control

To request a refund, contact us at ssealify@gmail.com within 24 hours of payment. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval of the offer letter by a landlord or lender is not a condition for refund eligibility — the service is considered delivered when the letter is issued.

6. No Guarantee of Approval

Sealify improves your chances of being approved by providing a qualified co-signer and a professionally formatted offer letter. However, we do not guarantee that any landlord or lender will approve your application. Final approval decisions are made solely by the landlord, property manager, or lender, and are outside our control.

Factors outside our service — such as the landlord's internal policies, current property availability, or lender-specific criteria — may affect the outcome of your application regardless of our co-signer's qualifications.

7. Your Responsibilities

By using Sealify, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information at all times
  • Not submit fraudulent, falsified, or altered documents
  • Use the offer letter solely for the purpose of the rental or financing application for which it was issued
  • Not reproduce, resell, or misrepresent the offer letter in any way
  • Notify us promptly if your application circumstances change after submission

Any misuse, fraud, or misrepresentation will result in immediate termination of your account without a refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sealify website — including text, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of Sealify and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sealify and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of housing, or any costs arising from a landlord's or lender's decision to decline your application.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific application giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sealify, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of false or fraudulent information.

11. Privacy

Your use of Sealify is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if your use of our services poses a risk to us, our co-signers, or other users. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email. Your continued use of the services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, as applicable under applicable law.
